You must be aware that throughout the recruitment process for most Grade C and Grade D positions in the Assam government, you must submit an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate. As a result, an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate is required to apply for any government job in Assam. We'll go over how to register your name with Employment Exchange and receive an Employment Exchange certificate in this article.




Previously, the Employment Exchange Registration application process was only available in paper format. However, as of September 27, 2021, the Government of Assam's Department of Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship has computerized the entire process of Employment Exchange Registration. You can now apply for an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate in Assam online.

criteria: All Indian citizens over the age of 14 who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register their names in the State of Assam's Employment Exchange.


District: Only one Employment Exchange in the state where the candidates are permanent residents within the District's authority is eligible for registration.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: All Indian citizens over the age of 14 who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register their names in the State of Assam's Employment Exchange.

Domicile: Candidates are only eligible to register in one Employment Exchange in the state where they are permanent residents within the District's authority.

NOC for Employed Candidates: Applicants who are already working and looking for a better job must register only after presenting a "No Objection Certificate" from their current employer.


How to Apply for Online Employment Exchange Registration?

Candidates who wish to register their names in Employment Exchanges through the internet must do so through the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship of Assam's official website. AADHAAR Based Verification and Non-AADHAAR Based Verification are the two main types of Online Employment Exchange Registration.


AADHAAR Based Verification:

Candidates can apply online through the official portal using their AADHAAR Card and a permanent address within the state of Assam in the AADHAAR Based Verification procedure. They are not required to physically visit the Employment Exchange. Candidates who have an AADHAAR card should follow the processes outlined below.

1. Scroll down, go to the Important section.

2. Click on the Online Employment Exchange Registration link.

3. The official online exchange registration portal will be opened.

4. Click on the "Register" button; Enter Full Name, Email Id, Mobile No., Password and State and Click Submit Button .

5. Next, choose Apply with the AADHAAR option.

6. log in to the portal by providing the Login ID and OTP/Password.

7. Now, fill in all the necessary information.

8. Please scan all Educational Qualification (Pass Certificate & Mark sheets in chronological order from lowest level to highest level) into a single PDF and upload it as one single PDF.


Non-AADHAAR Based Verification

Candidates who do not have an AADHAAR card must get an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate using the Non-AADHAAR Based Verification procedure. Applicants must, however, physically visit an Employment Exchange office to have their documents verified. The following is the online application process for Non-AADHAAR Based Verification.

1. Scroll down, go to the Important Web-Link's section.

2. Click on the Online Employment Exchange Registration link.

3. The official online exchange registration portal will be opened.

4. Click on the "Register" button; Enter Full Name, Email Id, Mobile No., Password and State, and Click Submit Button.

5. Next, choose to Apply without the AADHAAR option.

6. log in to the portal by providing the Login ID and OTP/Password.

7. Select the date and time for the verification of documents.

8. Visit the respective employment exchange office for documents verification.

9. Follow the necessary guidelines and process as described by concerned officials.

10. At the end, you will receive the Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

11. After successful submission of application Employment Exchange Card (X 10) will be issued to his/ her registered Email. 


Documents Required for Online Employment Exchange Registration

Mobile Number: Candidates will have to provide a valid and active mobile number to complete the online registration process.

Documents Related to Educational Qualification: Candidates must provide a single PDF containing all of their pass certificates and grade sheets. Your application may be rejected if all copies of papers are not scanned and clearly readable.

Age Proof: Candidates will be required to present one of the following documents as proof of age.

A)Birth Certificate.

B) HSLC Admit Card.

C) School Certificate.

Proof of Residency: Candidates will be required to present one of the following documents as proof of residency.

A) AADHAAR Card with a permanent address within the state of Assam.
B)  Driving License (Self or Parents).
C) Copy of Chitha/Jamabandi (Self or Parents).
D) Copy of Passport (Self or Parents).
E)  Certified Copy of Electoral Roll/EPIC (Self or Parents).

Caste Certificate: If a candidate belongs to the SC/ ST/ OBC/MOBC/ EWS group, they must attach a caste certificate.

PWD: Candidates who are PWD (Persons with Disabilities) must upload a disability certificate obtained by the appropriate authority.

Experience Certificate: Candidates who are already employed can upload their experience credentials if they have them.

Non- Creamy Layer Certificate:  Candidates who are OBC/ MOBC-NCL may upload a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate if applicable.


Registration Fee for Employment Exchange Certificate

Employment Exchange Registration is a 100% free process, and candidates in Assam do not have to pay any registration or application fees in order to get an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

Renewal of Employment Exchange Registration Certificate

a) Every registrant is required to renew his or her registration every three (3) years in the month specified on his or her registration card.

b) Failure to renew the registration within the grace period (3 months) will result in cancellation of the registration and consequent removal from the Employment Exchange's Live Register.

c) Under no circumstances can a request for registration renewal be considered after the due month and grace period have passed...
